Take[竹]: Bamboo - Japanese Engraving Ring 2mm width, Pt900, K18, Sterling Silver Rh/gold Plated
Order by October 31 in time for Christmas! International shipping OK.
The symbol of Shinko Studio, “Bamboo”.
Throughout history, pines, bamboos, and plums have been considered to be plants of good fortune in Japan, and have been taken into various motifs. The bamboo, because of its rapid growth rate, is considered to be a symbol of growth.
The town in which Shinko Studio was born was historically known as Take-cho, the bamboo town, and the Shinko Studio logo also contains bamboo to recognize this.
On these rings, bamboo has been represented, using a chisel and a small hammer, with a Japanese technique known as “wabori”. The hand-engraved parts glow with beauty.
You can choose various metals. Bamboo patterns on a 2 mm wide ring: this is the quintessence of the Japanese craftsman’s skills.

Making Jewelry Story
The simple design makes these rings easy to use.
The chisel goes through maintenance every single day. Good work starts from the preparations. Engraving is a process that does not allow for mistakes, similar to putting an eye in a statue of the Buddha. Since one mistake would mean the wasting the entire piece of jewelry, craftsmen work in an atmosphere of tension.
“Wabori” is a traditional Japanese art. Each line is hand-engraved.
The edge of the chisel is made specifically for the design of the engravings it will produce.
Initials and dates can be engraved in the inside of the ring.
