K18 Rose Gold Diamonds Ring Bespoke
This dome ring has round-cut diamonds of various sizes and tapered diamonds embedded in a textured rose gold surface.
Although the jewelry looks simple at first glance, tapered diamonds are long and slender, so setting them on the curved surface of a dome ring requires extreme care.
We use a variety of matte textures for different types of jewelry, but the texture on this rose gold is relatively long-lasting compared to other matte textures.
It is especially recommended for rings that are to be used a lot, as scratches are less likely to show up even after daily use.
The diamonds in this ring were originally set in separate pieces of jewelry.
They were relatively small stones that were clipped around the center stone to make the jewel more spectacular.
When remodeling an inherited piece of jewelry, the point that both the customer and we are concerned about is exactly what to do with these small stones that are clamped around the center stone.
When remodeling jewelry into simple jewelry that is easy to use every day, using small stones as they are along with the center stone may make the remodeled piece look too gorgeous without much change. Depending on the design, this may not be a problem, but it is necessary to proceed with a new design.
This time, the customer suggested that we make a ring like this one using all the remaining diamonds.
After consulting with our craftsmen, we were able to create this ring, which is simple yet playful and has a special feel to it.
Because the jewelry was passed down from generation to generation, we wanted to make the best of it. But we also wanted to create something that would be easy to use.
It is the one and only special jewelry in the world, born from our discussions together.
