K18 Diamond Ring Custom Order 　-Before leaving Japan

A simple ring set a single diamond.

The arm of the ring was put a matt finish.

This ring was a gift for her mother with gratitude for raising her. The design was simmiler to her ring.

Originally, her parents came to Shinko Studio with the request ” We would like to make something memorable for our daughter who is married to the U.S.”

So, it all started when they brought various jewelry that was handed down to their family.

Last year, her parents ordered us make a braided bracelet with gold with Japanese sense for her.

Along with that, he brought the ring that was the basis of the design of this ring.

“It’s an old ring, what should I do?”

Perhaps it seemed a pretty old jewelry which shortly after or even before World War II.

We proposed to resize, polish, and put the matt finish on the arms. And then the ring was given to her from her parents.

And a few months have passed.

This time on the contrary
Their daughter contacted us.

” I have grandfather’s old 24K gold ring and diamond pendant. Can you make a ring using these?”

“I want to give it to my mother before I leave Japan to get married to U.S. “

Then, I proposed that the 24K gold ring melted and added silver and copper to make a K18 ring and set the diamond of the pendant.

The design was  like the ring that her parents have gaven to her.

This time, the ring was a little thicker and had parents’ wedding anniversary engraved on the inside.

Then, after confirming her halfway stage, she left for the United States.

These two rings are in Japan and the United States.

Under this Corona situation, she will not be able to meet her Japanese family for a while.

However, she will be reassuring when she remembers her mother wearing the same ring.
