Pt950 Diamonds Signet Ring for Men Bespoke

The customer wanted to have a ring he inherited from his grandfather remodeled.
He was an overseas customer who found our shop through a web search. The inherited ring was custom-made overseas by his grandfather a long time ago, but it was a little heavy, so we decided to remake it into a more comfortable ring to wear.

The platinum used for this ring was obtained by melting down the original ring.
While diamonds are gemstones that allow for a variety of stone setting methods, this particular diamond is quite large, so we opted for a design that encircles the girdle for added stability.
The diamond is round-cut, but the bezel is deliberately octagonal to give it a unique feel.
The edges of the ring arm are inlaid with small diamonds that were originally on the ring.

Viewed from the side, you can see a window cut into the underside of the stone setting.
The sides of the ring have a smooth, mirror-like finish. The outside of the band has a soft, feather-like matte finish.

We actually heard that some of the customer’s family members have ties to Japan.
This ring has given us a glimpse into the bonds that jewelry can forge, transcending generations and national borders. Perhaps this ring, too, will one day be passed down to future generations, becoming a symbol of connection between people.
