18K Golden South Sea Pearl Ring & Pt950 Stacking Ring Set Bespoke

A custom birthday creation, commissioned by a family as a meaningful gift for our client.
For this project, we started by choosing the perfect South Sea golden pearl together with the client.
Designed for effortless layering, the contoured 18k gold ring set with the pearl fits seamlessly against a second platinum band tailored to match its exact curve.

This is what they look like when stacked. They fit together perfectly along the curve.
These two rings can be stacked together to create the look of a single ring with two contrasting colors, or they can be worn separately.
Actually, this ring is an adaptation of the design of the Noru set ring from our original brand, MENTOSEN.
Noru – 18K Broun Diamond Ring & Pt950 Stacking Ring

The client fell in love with our MENTOSEN collection, which led us to customize one of our signature designs.
While the original Noru features a pear-shaped brown diamond, this piece required a much larger golden pearl. To accommodate its size, we completely redesigned the ring using CAD, and our master craftsman hand-carved the platinum and gold from solid metal. 
The way these complex curves overlap looks beautifully simple, but it is a feat that can only be achieved through the precision of an experienced artisan.

The warm hue of the South Sea golden pearl pairs beautifully with the 18k yellow gold, which we finished with a thoughtful mix of soft matte and high-polish surfaces.
No two pearls are exactly alike; each possesses its own subtle nuance in color and tone. While we always offer a curated selection for our custom orders, this time, the entire family came together to take their time and choose the perfect one.The moments spent picking out the pearl became a cherished part of the gift’s story.

The accompanying platinum ring features a unique curve.
We applied a soft texture to just one facet of the band, leaving the remaining surfaces polished to a brilliant mirror finish.Even when worn on its own, the ring lets you enjoy a dynamic sense of fluidity and movement.

Because golden pearls are naturally grand in scale, it can be easy to fall into conservative choices when designing a ring around them.
