Pt950 Diamonds Pinky Ring Bespoke

The request was to create a pinky ring using diamond earrings with crown settings.
I aimed for a design that would be easy to wear daily yet remain playful enough to avoid becoming tiresome.

The surface where the diamond is set resembles the letter “D” facing backwards.
A soft, feather-like texture is applied only to the flat surface created on the outer circumference of the ring, accentuating the contrast with the mirror-finished surfaces elsewhere.

The diamond is set on a slightly angled surface rather than perfectly vertical.
When you actually wear it, you’ll notice that every movement of your hand creates different reflections in every direction. Even as a pinky ring, this piece has a real presence.

At first glance, these might seem like trivial differences. But when you actually wear the finished piece, these small variations can create a significant shift in impression.
Precisely because we live in a world overflowing with things, we want to cherish these little details that connect with each individual who wears them.
