SHINKO STUDIO is pleased to be releasing new work after a long period of inactivity. We look forward to unveiling these works at the shop together with the customers who have supported us thus far. We also hope that you will enjoy our talk session, delivered in Japanese with Kazuyo Gomi (approx. 1 hour), and dainty desserts by the Italian restaurant Connect Kitchen. As you are aware, our shop is rather small, so we will be accepting 15 guests on a first-come-first-served basis. Talk session with Artist Kazuyo GomiLiving

Graciously Each Day: Thinking about Japanese Craftwork　(Japanese only) 

This talk will be presented by jewelry artist Kazuyo Gomi, who has created new work for SHINKO STUDIO. Gomi will discuss the present state of craftwork in Japan, which is discernible precisely because it involves both work and artistry. Artists such as Gomi working in the craft field are face to face with the problem of the decline of work in Japan. How will things be made in the future? How will they be presented? How should we be involved with this? Gomi will raise these issues while also including secrets about the production of her new work in this discussion with Akiko Yonei, CEO of SHINKO STUDIO.
