We repurposed a cabochon-cut amethyst\u2014originally set in a ring belonging to the customer\u2014into a versatile pendant.

While the gemstone was originally set vertically on the ring, we intentionally chose to set it horizontally for the redesign.
\r\nAlthough oval cabochon stones are relatively often set vertically, a horizontal orientation creates a more contemporary look.<\/p>\r\n

It is precisely in simple designs that the precision of craftsmanship truly shines.
\r\nBecause the piece is crafted from a sheet of silver\u2014rather than created using a mold-based casting technique\u2014it can be tailored to fit the stone\u2019s shape with exceptional accuracy.
\r\nDetails that might go unnoticed at first glance\u2014such as the thickness of the metal, the visual balance between the metal and the stone, and the placement of the chain\u2014become crucial elements in simple jewelry.<\/p>\r\n
