The request was to create a ruby ring as a gift for a family member.
\r\nThis time, we started by searching for and proposing ruby stones. We designed the ring with the pear-shaped stone chosen by the customer intentionally set sideways.<\/p>\r\n

The platinum band of the ring features a smooth matte finish.
\r\nThis creates a striking contrast with the vivid color and lustrous sheen of the stone.
\r\nThe matte-finished ring is also characterized by its comfortable feel against the skin and its versatility with various outfits.<\/p>\r\n

It’s a subtle detail, but we actually apply a matte finish to the very small surface where the stone setting meets the ring band.
\r\nSince the sides and inner surfaces of the setting are polished to a mirror-like finish, this is a small touch to enhance the contrast.
\r\nTo allow the stone’s color to be enjoyed even when viewed from the side, we secured it with just two prongs on either side.<\/p>\r\n
