We remodeled a cool emerald-cut diamond ring that the client had inherited from a family member into a simple pendant.
\r\nIt was a beautiful, clear stone with few inclusions, so we designed the design to make the metal as inconspicuous as possible so that the stone would stand out.<\/p>\r\n

The base metal used was K18WG, and while many people usually think of white gold as a silver color that is almost identical to platinum, white gold is actually essentially a pale champagne gold color like this pendant.<\/p>\r\n

The base metal used was K18WG, and while many people usually think of white gold as a silver color that is almost identical to platinum, white gold is actually essentially a pale champagne gold color like this pendant.
\r\nWhite gold is made by mixing a base metal of gold with a metal of the platinum group called palladium or other metals.
\r\nWhen sold as jewelry, it is usually coated with rhodium, another platinum group metal, to give it a bright silver color, so it looks almost identical to platinum.
\r\nIn this case, the customer liked the original color of the white gold, so we decided to use the color as it is.<\/p>\r\n

\"K18<\/p>\r\n

The craftsman devised a blend of metals so that the colors of the chain and pendant head match. Since each manufacturer has a slightly different blend of white gold, it requires the knowledge and experience of the craftsman to perfectly match the color.<\/p>\r\n

It is simple, but it is well crafted, even on the back side.
\r\nEven with expensive stones, the design should be easy to use without being overbearing.
\r\nHowever, we are meticulous about the craftsmanship and workmanship.
