We bespoke a pearl ring that the customer inherited from her mother.<\/p>\r\n

She said her mother was a very fashionable person.<\/p>\r\n

She had a variety of jewelry, some of which the customer remembers and some of which she does not.<\/p>\r\n

The design is such that when worn, the pearls just fit between the fingers.<\/p>\r\n

Viewed from the side, the pearls are visible through the ring’s metal.<\/p>\r\n

The inside and outside of the ring are mirror-finished, and both sides have a fine texture all the way around.<\/p>\r\n

This texture glows softly like fabric with every movement of the hand. This finish is different from the usual matte finish.<\/p>\r\n

Each piece is carved by hand by craftsmen using a Japanese tool called a Tagane.<\/p>\r\n

Tagane is a Japanese cold chisel.<\/p>\r\n
