The jade that the client was gave from her mother was a part of an old piece of jewelry cut into several pieces.<\/p>\r\n

It was a unique stone with uneven angles.<\/p>\r\n

When she brought this stone, we said, “What an interesting stone!”<\/p>\r\n

At that time, we had something like a crush.<\/p>\r\n

In addition, as I talked to client, We could feel that she had a well-established thought about things.<\/p>\r\n

We thought if we propose an interesting design, she must enjoy it together.<\/p>\r\n

That’s why I proposed a drastic designs.<\/p>\r\n

As a result, she decided on this design which we would have a hard to make , but wanted to challenge.<\/p>\r\n

Wax casting method is generally used for such curved lines.<\/p>\r\n

However this time, we wanted to set the stone by platinum firmly.<\/p>\r\n

For that reason, the stone must fit the ring so that there is no slight gap.<\/p>\r\n

To avoid error, we took the way to make directly from metal by the proposal from the craftsmen.<\/p>\r\n

When the top of the ring is heavy, the ring is easy around due to be unbalance. So\u00a0 both sides of the top of the ring was made in cavity medium\u00a0 by using a technique called “Uchidashi”.<\/p>\r\n

Then, the craftsman brazed the platinum plate parts on the top to set the stones firmly.<\/p>\r\n

Each process is required the highly craftsman’s technique.<\/p>\r\n

The surface has a slightly rough texture.<\/p>\r\n

It goes very well with the beautiful green.<\/p>\r\n

We are grateful for doing this kind of interesting work.<\/p>\r\n

“Other people may think so, but I think this way. Think for myself, choose for myself.”<\/p>\r\n

I believe that these client values are linked to our daily design.<\/p>\r\n

And, obviously, it is also true that the number of people with such sensibilities is increasing.<\/p>\r\n

That’s why we have to imagine and think about the life of those who wear jewelry and think about how we can link it to their life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

I feel that it is what we need to make jewelry.<\/p>\r\n
