ABOUT Shine On! Kids<\/h2>\r\n\r\n

Shine On! Kids is a certified NPO founded in 2006. The creation of the organization was inspired by the smiles and courage of Mark and Kim Ferris\u2019 son Tyler, who spent much of his short life battling a very difficult-to-cure kind of leukemia. Shine On! Kids help children with cancer and their families in Japan through unique and innovative programs. Shinko Studios wants to join Shine On! Kids in their support of communities in Japan through creative collaborations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Shine On! Kids Bailey Pendant<\/h3>\r\n

Japan\u2019s first facility dog, Bailey, began working with his handler, Yuko Morita, at Shizuoka Children\u2019s Hospital in 2010.
\r\nIn July 2012, they moved to Kanagawa Children\u2019s Medical Center, where Bailey continued his work until his retirement in October 2018. During those years, he spent time with and encouraged a total of 22,585 hospitalized children, bringing them comfort and smiles.
\r\nBailey crossed the Rainbow Bridge in October 2020 at the age of 12 years and 9 months, loved by many.
\r\nThis pendant was created to keep Bailey\u2019s memory alive and to bring courage and warmth to those who wear it.<\/p>\r\n
